Characteristics
El Cortijo Golf Course is one of the longest courses in Spain. Its design, up to six tees per hole allows players of all levels to enjoy the game. The holes are surrounded by several small lakes that have been incorporated into the design and they will surely give you a special attraction aesthetically. Host of the 2002 European Tour Event ‘The Canarias Open de España’, the course was designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martin who have been responsible for some of the best courses in the world. The course is interspersed with six lakes and dotted with over 600 palm trees. In addition, the greens can be fast and difficult to read therefore accuracy and strategy are key when playing this course.
