The Costa Brava is located on the north east coast of the Iberian peninsula. Its coast is lapped by the crystal waters of the Mediterranean and its interior overlooked by the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains. Inland there’s the historic city of Girona and further down on the coast you have the trendy Catalan capital of Barcelona. There is a gentle climate typical of the Mediterranean with fairly hot summers and mild winters, but nothing too extreme making it great weather for golf. Considered to be one of Spain’s greatest golf courses, the PGA Cataluyna’s Stadium Course is one of those layouts that every golfer should tackle at least once in their lifetime. Designed by Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles, the Stadium Course is by no means out of reach for novices.
