Santa María Golf & Country Club is not only considered one of the most exquisite golf courses in Marbella but also one of the most idle.  It boasts an 18-hole golf course located next to a delightful pine forest and an oak forest.  The first 9 holes were designed by Antonio Garrido and the field quickly became one of the favourites of a great number of golf players who decided to become partners.  The second 9 holes, inaugurated in November 1996, were designed by the club’s technical team.  It is now considered, by experienced players and also by beginners, as one of the best in Marbella.  The course offers players a challenging game in an environment with views of the Mediterranean Sea and mountains covered by oaks.
