Restaurants
Kabuki – Creating an elevated sensory experience for Tenerife gastronomes, the Michelin star Abama Kabuki forges design, taste and fine dining service with added theatre. Four defined zones enable diners to enjoy a very different Kabuki experience including the main restaurant (Kabuki Room); Kabuki Bar; Sushi Bar; and Kabuki Space, offering a bespoke private dining experience in one of the Canary Island’s most inspired restaurants.
M.B – M.B is the signature Tenerife fine dining restaurant of renowned Basque chef Martín Berasategui, whose inspired interpretations of Spanish cuisine have made him a household name throughout Spain and beyond. His cooking is characterised not just by its inventiveness but also by a profound understanding of flavour and a deep respect for ingredients: qualities that eptomise M.B., one of the most intriguing Michelin star restaurants in Tenerife.
El Mirador – With a large thatched roof and wooden beams inspired by the architecture of Bali, El Mirador (the viewpoint) certainly lives up to its name: it enjoys perhaps the most enviable location of all of the restaurants, right on the cliffs edge near our villas with magnificent panoramic views across the Atlantic ocean towards La Gomera island. Appropriately for the location, El Mirador specialises in locally sourced seafood. Open for dinner, the restaurant also benefits from a wonderful outdoor terrace and garden and its own secluded infinity pool.
20/20 Steakhouse – 20/20 inspired by a menu featuring the finest selection of 20 meats and 20 sophisticated wine categories where diners are presented with a categorised cuisine spanning classic steak cuts, meticulously sourced from the very best farms in regions including Uruguay, Nebraska and the Spanish territory of Galicia. To enhance the bold flavours of every meat dish, a wine-pairing of 20 red wines are carefully sourced from the most powerful vineyards across the globe, spanning Mendoza, Argentina, McLaren Valley, Australia and Lebanon, Spain, Italy and France.
Verona – Situated in the heart of The Ritz Carlton Abama’s Citadel building and behind its renowned Moorish façade, the new Verona serves a comforting combination of classic Italian flavours, with innovative dishes introducing a pop of contemporary methods and taste combinations. Taking pride in only the freshest ingredients, Verona’s menu of handcrafted pastas includes the finest cheese and cold meats hand sourced from Italy. The restaurant also features a wood-fired oven, introducing artisan pizzas.
Txoko – Return to the origins and bringing back the flavours of the past. This is the concept that the awarded chef Martín Berasategui wants for his brand new restaurant Txoko, whose culinary experience is based in the traditional Spanish gastronomy, but in search of an evolution of delicious and popular recipes in order to make them more attractive for his guests.
Beach Club – Situated on the beach facing La Gomera Island the oceanfront Beach Club restaurant serves freshly prepared food, refreshments and cocktails until sundown. It’s the perfect place for lunch when you can’t bear to tear yourself away from the ocean and where better to catch the most spectacular show on the island: the sight of the evening sun slowly dipping into the Atlantic.
La Veranda – Do justice to the most important meal of the day at La Veranda, serving a superb buffet breakfast every morning either indoors or on the sunny terrace. Guests have their pick of more than 150 food specialities, including local fruit, freshly prepared pastries from the patisserie, Serrano hams and other Spanish options and hot breakfasts cooked to order. Refreshments include a full range of coffees and teas or a glass of champagne if you prefer.
Los Chozos – Los Chozos is situated next to Abamas luxurious main swimming pool and serves light snacks, refreshments and cocktails to poolside sun loungers as well as more substantial lunches in its main dining area. Shaded by palm trees and with the pool just a few steps away it’s a chance to sample local Canary Island specialities in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
La Casa Club – Right at the heart of the golf course surrounded by luxuriant palm groves, La Casa Club is an idyllic spot for a light lunch or an early evening cocktail. The terrace offers stunning ocean views.
Bars
Sports Bar – Enjoy the big match with a proper pint of beer in the Sports Bar styled on a traditional English pub. With several large plasma TVs it’s the place to catch all of your favourite sporting events live on the big screen. Enjoy a game of pool between matches or settle in for the evening with a bar menu that includes classics like burgers and barbecued chicken wings.
Lobby Bar – At the heart of the hotel, the seductive lobby bar is both a meeting point and a romantic evening destination, where you can enjoy live piano music and cocktails either from the comfort of the grand interior or the intimacy of the outdoor terrace.
